Switch - Day 3
Alright, so started this morning with a run to Starbucks where I did switch iphone Q&A. After which I came home and started combining labs. Mixing STP and RSTP and MST just to see what would happen. Mis-configured ports on purpose. Flapped links just to see if I could predict problems. Even used a known faulty cable just to see the effect.
After which I got kinda OCD on QoS. I worked through the vids and book already. But I really didn't get the larger picture well. So busted out an ANCIENT copy of CBTnuggets QoS videos and worked through all 8 hours of them! I was happy that all my equipment worked. No need to improvise.
So now I am working through about 200 flashcards while I bake cookies with the wife.
Over all 12 hours in today.
Day 1 - 10 hours
Day 2 - 20 hours
Day 3 - 12 hours
42 hours into studying for switch, Not counting videos and reading I am doing on the train to/from work.
I probably won't get back to studying until Sunday, my week is looking pretty rough already. Oh well, fun times ahead.
