My best advice at this point is relax. Take your time realize its just a test and you can re-take it.

I used to get really overworked (still to some degree) for cert exams, but in the end getting worked up the day of doesn't help.

Watch the time because the ICND2 is a little tougher than the ICND1.

My advice is to schedule the exam in the future not in the past (1-4-11 in the title).

Good luck! Let us know how it goes. I'm going to be in the same boat in a few months. The day I took my CCENT, I kicked the kids and wife out of the house and took a long bath to relax myself before hand. I think from now on i'm going to get a massage. haha ... it sounds *** but it feels great

I think you may have taken the test already, but good luck and I hope you passed! I too am studying for this, but I'm unsure if I should take 2 exams or just go in for the big one.

Passing is a 825 and I scored 811 ...so frustrated... can't put it into word..... ;-( so disappointed in my self... so so so close and to be quite honest the test wasn't all that hard like I thought. I think they deducted points from my score b/c I finished the test with 40 sec left. 3 questions that I can say for sure I got wrong. An IPV6 question, an OSPF question which I was totally lost on and a question on my Sim. I cant put into words how disappointment I am. For those who passed HOW many questions did you have ? Me 40 and 70 min I think, Do you guys think they deducted point because I had no time left? I was so prepared :- (

no they would deduct points for finishing with 40 seconds left. They would only deduct point for missed quesitons.

The exam breakdown report should tell you what you missed points on. If you were that close, study the weak areas are retake it next week.

Retesting in 20 hours. I've strengthen my week areas and you guys really helped out a lot with my trouble concepts...

Round 2 in 20 hours.

Does it cost another full price to take the exam over if you fail it or is there some sort of discounted retake fee?

There is no "retake discount." You always pay full price for Cisco exams -- unless you find a discounted exam voucher and use that. The "early expiring" vouches give you the greatest discounts.

<-- look for the Exam Vouchers link on the left margin there (and follow the Clearance link there and make you you look for the correct US/Canada or International vouchers).

On a normal day you may save $5 (or nothing). But I've seen clearance vouchers save some "real money."

Cisco tests don't have a discount for a retake.

Hey Guy's I'm officially Cisco Certified, passed last Thursday with a 895 Yaaa!! ....... It was tougher than before but thanks to this forum helping me with my concepts, I am now a CCNA. Routing , Routing and more Routing
