Break Into ROMMON mode and reload the IOS? Double checking the Config-register making sure it's booting from Flash.

(or try to specify the boot-system flashicon_mad.gifxxxxxx command)

Steve what I did was set it to boot from flash and when I reboot it without being in ROMMON it now boots on its own to flash but always stops here even on the old CF with IOS it did same thing. I got another flash thinking the flash was the issue now I am thinking the 1841 is a brick. It is hard to believe since I have done nothing to this device? like I have older cisco devices than this and they have lasted longer....kind of sick thinking how it doesnt seem to go behone that Fa0/0 and just stops
just dumbfounded really..thouight maybe someone had seen this before. Hey thanks steve. config register is set to 0x2102 cause I did the confreg 0x2102 and reset router and it seemed to boot from flash and uncompress but stops after all that it just torks me off. Thanks steve

Go to ROMMON and alter the config register so it doesn't use the configuration.
