Newly created files do not show on mapped drive

We have a folder on a windows 7 pc shared with 3 users mapped to it. The issue we are having is that if one user puts a file in the folder it does not appear to the other users for a few minutes. They can refresh windows explorer, close out and go back into it, disconnect and reconnect the mapped drive and it still takes a few minutes then it will show up. Any ideas?

Interesting, I also have this issue at home. I put a file onto a shared drive on one pc and it appears fine. I go to another pc and look at the same shared folder and it's empty - refresh, still empty. Reboot the computer and the file appears.

I must admit I have not looked into the cause or spent any time trying to find out what's going on but it's on my hit list. I thought it was just me. I have found a few quirks with Win7, wonder if the release of sp1 on Feb 16th will change anything.
