Subnetting

Hi all,

I have been trying the questions on the following link

subnettingquestions.com - Free Subnetting Questions and Answers Randomly Generated Online

I repeatedly get the correct answer and I am generally very quick in doing so also. Is this a sufficient standard of question in order to be able to pass the ICND1 exam?

I think if you can answer those questions and do the ones at IP Subnet Practice quickly and accurately you are in pretty good shape for the icnd1.

Hmmm - maybe not 15 seconds and not in my head as I tend to jot it down but I tend to get it within a minute.

Yeh you should be able to look at a question and within around 15-20 seconds, know the answer in your head.

Best way to learn how to subnet fast is to get a piece of paper and pen and write it all down, bit by bit. Helps to make it stick in your brain. Keep doing exercises until you can just look at questions and work it out in your head.

Took me around 3 - 4 weeks of doing exercises and writing them all down on paper to be able to subnet fast.
