in CCNA & CCENT
I'm getting a 2610xm, but it only has ios 12.4. Will that have sdm on it?

you will have to install sdm separately. latest version is 2.5 and you would need about 32MB flash to fit the SDM+IOS

Once the IOS is any of the following :
•12.2(11)T6 or later releases
•12.3(2)T or later releases
•12.3(1)M or later releases
•12.3(4)XD
•12.2(15)ZJ3
•12.4(2)T or later releases
AND you have enough flash memory, you will just need to get a copy of SDM (latest version : 2.5) and install it. I believe that it is <10MB
