finally...!
still disappointed though, the exam experience is awful, Window-Resizing and Manipulation should be Cisco proprietary skill (since no other certification i did was this bad)

there were so many things that just made the whole thing seem a bit amateurish. horrible layouts, colours, graphic, etc... no consistency in the lab formats....badly compressed images (really!!!!!!!) OMG what happened to Cisco?

I agree very much with you!
I got 2 typos in the exam! One about a non-existant vlan and one about a non-existant router. Where i agree the most, is the window-resizing skill in the labs.

It seem Cisco just not redesigned this exam and didn't put the same efforts they did in route and tshoot

Awful experience
Well, the good news is, i passed the exam and i got 846 icon_cheers.gif
I did much bad on 2 sections but great on 3 as described below

Implement VLAN based solution : 65%
Implement a security extension of a layer 2 solution: 100%
Implement Switch based layer 3 services: 100%
Prepare infrastructure to support advanced services: 50%
Implement high availability: 83%

Material used was
Official certification guide
CBT nuggets, Switch + design and some wireless
GNS3, Packet tracer, VMware, IPblue and Win Server 2003

    Congrats!

I did have the same two errors in mine as well. If I get them again next weekend, I'm leaving comments this time.

I left a comment on that question! It was something like..."Come on, are we paying 200 bucks for that stuff?"

I was very nervous for that exam after reading bad reviews about it and at the end i turned my head while clicking on End exam and i left out the room straight away.

Well im happy that mess is over and now i'll focus on the TSHOOT exam which i'm sure is well designed and will be extremely fun to take!!

Out the 5 exams i did so far, SWITCH is the worst!

    congrats

About 1 month and half or 60 hours i would say!
I skipped the voice/QoS part of the cert and i focused really hard on redundancy protocols, Spanning-tree security, dot1x, Etherchannel and overall best practices!

This was the new stuff and was very cool to learn! icon_study.gif
