Hi all
I am currently trying to simulate sites in my test environment. I have created the sites in AD but how do I make machines on different subnets talk?
I am using server 2008 VMs and using oracle VM virtualbox.
Do you need to configure something within the network adapters setting?
many thanks

By routing the traffic.
You should create different virtual networks for each subnet. Then create a new 2008 VM, install the Routing and Remote Access role, and assign an adapter from each network to the RRAS VM. Set the default gateway to the RRAS VM address in each site and route away. -

Is a machine with dual-NICs needed in this case? Could be done using virtual adapters, right?
