Since I got a non-3G iPad I was keen to try the new iOS 4.3 (wireless hotspot).. both, iPad and iPhone 4 are now in a recovery loop .. meh ..
I obviously have backups (and even stored them offsite), but it is still annoying ...

My most wanted feature indeed: Wireless Hotspot .. which does work like a charm ..
Here an iPhone 4 and non-3G iPad hooked up using the iPhone 4 3G connection (had a rubbish reception here) - just to show how much loss you have
Not bad considering ... will see how it goes in areas where I actually have a proper 3G connection ...My own knowledge base made public: http://open902.com -

You got my hopes up, but then I learned that is only supported on the iPhone 4. I guess I'll be able to use it if/when the iPhone 5 comes out later this year... -

I am just surprised Apple did that though.. Why would any iPhone owner buy the iPad 3G anyway I am glad I didn't (not for that premium anyway). My own knowledge base made public: http://open902.com -

Did the restore/reset and it's alive again.
The backup restore seemed to have restored the app data -- but not most of the apps. I'll see what it looks like after it finishes screwing up my GOOD backup and finishes syncing.
I've got a network copy of the GOOD backup, so I'll probably try another backup restore....:mike: Cisco Certifications -- Collect the Entire Set!
