For IT systems admin 50-60k
Associates Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline,
OR
MCSE or MCITP status in recent Microsoft operating systems,
OR
2 or more years of combined experience with the following technical skills:
PC hardware installation, maintenance, and repair. Experience with HP servers, HP workstations, or Apple desktops a plus.
Windows Server (2003 or 200 installation and support.
Ethernet and TCP/IP networking fundamentals.
All they're asking for is an AS for a sys admin?

Bl8ckr0uter Inactive Imported Users Posts: 5,031 ■■■■■■■■□□I think it is somewhat common to ask for an AAS for a sys admin. Many jobs around here list a BS as a plus but AS or AAS required. Some don't list degree requirements at all.

Recent: 11/2019 - RHCSA (RHEL 7); 2/2019 - Updated VCP to 6.5 (just a few days before VMware discontinued the re-cert policy...)
Working on: RHCE/Ansible
Future: Probably continued Red Hat Immersion, Possibly VCAP Design, or maybe a completely different path. Depends on job demands... -
