Hey Guys,
I want to take the comptia security+ cert.
Which is the cert - SY0-201? I am confused about it
The books say its a 2008 cert, what does that mean?
Please advice/guide/assist.

The SY0-201 is the Security+ 2008, the 2008 is the year in which that exam was 1st given. The SY0-301 will still be Security+ but for the 2011 exam which will come out sometime at the end of the year.

Eansdad summed it up perfectly. Since this is a fairly easy and entry level test I think there's no need to worry about the upcoming objectives and just start studying for the current test.
