Is there a more modern equivalent to this book? It looks absolutely fascinating and I'm also wondering if anyone has read it.

    I think after 11 years technology has changed as well as architectures. I will say no more....

    Its a good primer. Follow it up with BGP Design and Implementation by Cisco Press.
