Please let me know if your interested in or know of a good Business Analyst to join my company's IT Department.

The Business Analyst will be a hands-on individual contributor with the primary responsibility to analyze business requirements, evaluate, revise and implement systems or processes in a client/server or mainframe environment to support our growing business needs. Key responsibilities will include:

Working with users, consultants and other IT resources to gather business requirements, analyze and document business processes, document system module configurations and create functional specifications for enhancements and new development.
Analyze user applications and operational requirements.
Assist in definition and specification for database access, structure, functional capabilities, documentation, security, backup and recovery.
Perform validation checks, maintain database dictionaries and assist in implementation.
Providing support on projects through all phases starting with planning, high level design, business analysis, detailed functional solution design, project testing cycles etc., related to rollout or enhancements to system Financial, Manufacturing, Order Management, and Service modules.
Working closely with outside DBAs, functional consultants, and technical contractors and also liase with system Support team to log SR's for software related bugs and bring issues to closure on projects.
Working with users to design and develop reports in Crystal Reports or ColdFusion.

The ideal candidate will be a collaborative problem solver with a BS degree and 3-5 year’s related hands-on experience; including manufacturing industry experience. Knowledge of relational database concepts and Structured Query Language (SQL), Business Objects Crystal (data extraction and report writing skills), and Cold Fusion required. Solid Project Management skills and experience managing small to medium size projects and the ability to manage their time working on multiple projects. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Works with a sense of urgency. Prior experience with ERP systems migration from Oracle to Infor SyteLine highly desirable.
