hello guys

I am installing a vmware free 4.1 esxi version.
On boot up it doesnt have a place where I can add drivers on the fly like in Microsoft you can hit F6 to install 3rd party drivers. but
where in the instal of ESXI 4.1 can you install drivers for the
raid set on the fly?

I am afraid no, ESXi is very strict when it comes to hardware. The full version of ESX lets you installing third part driver for ESX, but not the free ESXi Hypervisor

MentholMoose says the true. You can add custom drivers for ESXi installation, even if the process is not easy icon_sad.gif! The Welcome to vm-help.com site (and its forum) is great for its!! icon_thumright.gif
