dynamips/dynagen on top of ESXi

Anyone done this? Any hiccups? Is performance acceptable? The dynamips VM will probably be running on debian.

I'm wanting the flexibility to have both host connectivity for testing VLAN and routing configurations, and the ability to tear hosts down and put them back up quickly.

Planning on running Server 2008 R2 at times (domain controllers) prepping for 70-640 and Tiny Core Linux, Micro Core Linux, 10MB Linux GUI Desktop, Live, Frugal, Extendable as generic hosts for routing/switching labs.
Climb a mountain, tell no one.

What you want to do is quite possible, but the use of Dynamips is quite controversial. Dynamips requires the use of Cisco IOS images; Cisco does not license the use of their images on anything except genuine Cisco hardware owned by licensed Cisco customers. Search TE's forums for "dynamips" and read the posts about this subject.
