hi guys,

sorry if this has been discussed before, but which certs should i get that would help me land an entry level job in networking? preferably at a data center.

i've already got my a+, have some minor networking experience by interning at a local community college. so i'm looking at either 70-642 or network+. not sure if i should go for the latter because i plan on getting the ccna in the near future.

any advice is appreciated.
thanks!

If you plan on getting the CCNA, and you already have some networking experience, I would skip the 642/Network+ and go straight for the CCENT as your "entry level" cert.

Those two certs are so different they'll be VERY difficult to compare. Also, the Microsoft one will be much more difficult IMO. I'd say take the above posters advice and skip to CCENT if Networking is your thing.
