Passed 298, Now MCSE!!!

in MCSA/MCSE: Security
Got 896 on 70-298 am now happy i got mi MCSE planning to upgrade to MCITP, Thanks a lot guys for your support which pushed me up to this level.

    Congrats. I've just started this! Any advice. I've heard PKI is a sod in this exam.

    no mate i didnt receive Security specialization but i understand i have to because of my ISA how do i go about that cause i need it as well thanks for reminding me cause i always wanted to get MCSE security thats why i did ISA.

    yes PKI is sod on this exam mate but you know this is a case study is not really that tough as compared to core exams.

    Congrats on the pass! I am so ready to take this exam but cannot book it till May 7th...test center only has some weekdays available but I can only take it on Saturdays because of work...the 7th is the next available Saturday

    If I pass the 298 I should get the MCSE: Sec right? because I got Sec+ already...

    congrats on the pass. just failed the 70-293 today, hopefully the retake goes well. this is a great achievement.

    Remember that you must also pass the 70-299, if you haven't already and wish to attain the Security specialization... in addition to the elective (ISA, Security+, SSCP, CISSP, etc...)

    Ah okay so I need 299 in addition to when I pass 298...for the 299 studying, is there anything additional that I need to study, is there one area it focuses on? Or is it the same test just different questions?

    Congrats man! The 299 is similar, but the questions are a lot worse. I've taken and failed it three times.

    no I haven't got a second shot. booked the exam for next Thursday 21-04-2011. hopefully i will pass it then. I felt that i was ready and studied hard enough for this exam but was more the wording of the questions that really caught me.

    And again congrats with the pass, hopefully I can complete mine by July/August.
