Webmaster Admin Posts: 10,292 AdminThe following page is not finished nor available from the nav menu, but it shows the recommended books. I only read the passport, but I know the others are the most recommended books. I suggest to get the official guide 'and' the AIO from shon harris.

ghummel Member Posts: 2 ■□□□□□□□□□I teach CISSP at the local university along with other CISSPs from our local chapter. I've found that the 'breadth' of knowledge can't be found in a single book. Johan Hiemstra and Ten9t6 have excellent suggestions. I'd like to add/summarize the following:
The CISSP Prep Guide
Krutz and Vines
by Wiley publisher
All-In-One CISSP Certification Exam Guide
Shon Harris
By Osborne publisher
Mike Meyer's Certification Passport CISSP
Mike Meyer's
by Osborne
The Total CISSP Exam Prep Book
Thomas R. Peltier and Patrick D. Howard
by Auerbach
Th Official (ISC)2 Guide to the CISSP Exam
S. Hansche, John Berti, Chris Hare
by Auerbach
Use these books (and CD's, tests, etc that they provide) and the sites like the cccure.org website for testing and you will have a good foundation for taking the test. -
JDMurray Admin Posts: 13,091 AdminThe third edition of Shon Harris' book is due out in August. The release date has been push back several times this year, so I don't know when it will actually be available.
