Old IT Books
So I have some old IT books (Windows 2000, XP, old CCNA, etc..) that I have no idea what to do with. I contacted the local library to see if they would take it, but the books did not meet their guidelines - another words, they were too old. I'm thinking about just ripping out the paper and throwing it in our recycle bin at work and tossing the hard cover in our card board recycle bin.
Just wondering what you guys/gals have done with your old books.

Save yourself an hour of ripping pages, although that might be fun too.Decide what to be and go be it. -

- A local community or vocational college
- High schools around that have technology-related classes or clubs
- Local 'Community Computer Clubs', (usually comprised of older folks,) who may find them useful
- At worst, you could always send out an email to your friends/family/co-workers and see if anyone is interested in one, some, or even all your old books
And, if all that should fail, recycling is probably the best way to go.
