Post Your Speedtest Result
So, let's see your speedtest.net results from home.
Work speeds don't count.

This is at my new place. Could go for a faster connection, but I'm not sure how long I'll be in this building, so I don't want to deal with the hassle of new fiber installation. Even though I have fiber now, different companies aren't allowed to use the same physical jack.
Anyway, just kinda curious to see where we all stand...

My results are deceptive. Comcast has serious infrastructure problems in my area and thousands of their customers have problems with higher latency and dropped packets during peak hours. Every time I get to talk to someone that knows what they're talking about, I'm told they're working on upgrading their fiber between Nashville and Chicago and currently there is nothing they can do. This has been going on for monthsClimb a mountain, tell no one. -

I have a 10Mbps line. Could go faster (up to 100mbps), but I'm happy with what I get for the cost

Well, hurry on up and get the hell over here!
Remember the plan!
Made from a wireless connection. I usually get 50/15 wired.
That's strange. When I tested via wireless on the laptop and it was still symmetric, topping out between 40 and 50 Mbps. The OP is getting 160 down and 68 up that's insane
Pretty ho-hum actually.
This is just 200 Mbps service. I didn't go for 1 Gbps service because, that's a different company and this apartment is already setup for NTT fiber. If I want 1 Gbps, it's like 3 months of paperwork and they have to physically install a new fiber jack in my apartment since the existing one is property of NTT.I don't know how the OP can afford that kind of connection.
You don't know I can afford about $50 a month?
Hell, my father, who lives near Chicago pays more than this for his crappy Comcast connection.Current Study Track

WOW! If thats a D grade, what is F.
Easy. Try run speedtest.net via GPRS and you may get F.
For example my backup connection in EDGE mode:
I wonder if CSD and dial-up are used somewhere these days...2013 to do list:

Yeah this is the absolute fastest I can get at home. It's between AT&T and some no name local cable company which tops out at 1 Mbps. Now if you look at the complex across the street, they can get the 50 Mbps Comcast connection. I'm sure the houses around here can get the uverse AT&T connection as well, just not me in my little apartment.WGU BS:IT Completed June 30th 2012.
