So, let's see your speedtest.net results from home.

Work speeds don't count.

This is at my new place. Could go for a faster connection, but I'm not sure how long I'll be in this building, so I don't want to deal with the hassle of new fiber installation. Even though I have fiber now, different companies aren't allowed to use the same physical jack.

Anyway, just kinda curious to see where we all stand...

ok have you ever tested a 100 mb + circuit with speedtest.net ? I wonder where is caps at (guess 100 mb)...it´d be nice to have a connection so fast that speedtest isnt able to accurately measure your speed.

Yes it pegs the needle at 100 but shows the correct speed. Like I said the Uni I worked at before where I am now would get 150-200.

We're sitting on a 100Mbit connection, tested with Iperf on a few occasions. Those Flash based speed tests can vary widely depending on browser, Flash version, etc. On average, I find the speed tests at dslreports.com to be more accurate. Although, you can't beat the GUIs of the Flash based tests.

Haven't used Iperf, but I've used just about every web based test out there, they're all usually pretty close.

It is true that I live in a different country but unlike other things I use the same websites that you use in USA, so the difference in inet speed does make a difference.

I am paying in a bundle deal right now for $99 a month for phone, tv, and internet. Once I get rid of the phone and tv it will be about $50 a month.
