Access ASA using ASDM but with Device Name

In order for me to access my ASA using ASDM but the device name as opposed to the IP, what do I need to configure on the appliance?

You need to have the same settings on the ASA as you would to do it via the ip address. Then you need to configure you ASAs hostname in DNS for it to resolve to the proper name.
