Question about T1 Circuits
We have a ton of T1 and bonded T1 circuits to branch offices.
Today my manager was trying to tell me that with a T1, you have a dedicated 1.536M up and a dedicated 1.536M down because of full duplex the circuit actually allows 3.072M.
Unless I am going crazy or just don't know ****, I always thought that with a T1, the had a max bandwidth of 1.536M and that was used between up and down. Am I correct? Any reference material I can look at? Please tell me that I am not a dumbass after all.

kmcintosh78 Member Posts: 195The T1 is a 4 wire circuit, 1 pair transmit, 1 pair receive. 1.5 up and down at the same time is no problem.
But, to say that equates to 3m is not a good way to look at it.What I am working on
