I can't find any books for these... anyone got any pointers? Anyone used any books successfully?

Mastering Microsoft Virtualization should be all you need for the MCITP: VA. It is not an exam prep book so there are no practice questions, but I passed 70-669, 70-693, and 70-403 by going through this book (I'm sure the book is enough for 70-659, too).

No problem. Keep in mind that it is not an exam prep guide, so it lacks exam tips and pointers about the importance of specific things for the exam. But as long as you read it and (especially) do all the labs, I don't think there will be a problem.
