Outlook PST Repair

My computer has windows vista and my outlook file is not working properly its not showing the contents of the PST file when i open the mail box it shows error to open . I consulted Outlook PST Repair for this please suggest is this the right place to go.

Have you ran ScanPST.exe?

Are you accessing Outlook through a Web Browser using Outlook Web Access "WebMail"?

If so Do this
1. Click Options
2. Click E-Mail Security
3. Click DownLoad on S/MIME Control
