Question related to Subnetting

in CCNA & CCENT
Does the below IP network 192.168.0.0/3 or 10.0.0.0/2 valid or invalid scheme?

Invalid. Why? You can't subnet a Class A with a mask less than /8. You can't subnet a Class C with a mask less than /24.

During I read the book 'Sybex CCNA study Guide', I found that for Class A network, subnetting from /8 . For Class B address, the subnetting from /16
So I think for Class A address /3 is invalid. -
