I passed today with a score of 784! TechExams is such an awesome resource for information I just wanted to thank the contributors of this forum who provide great feedback on advice and recommended study materials.

I used the recommended book: "CompTIA Security+: Get Certified Get Ahead: SY0-201" Kindle edition as well as PrepLogic and ExamForce for practice exams. I will now go back to studying for the CCNA and then CCNA: Security.

    Did you take the new exam or the old one?
    I'm currently studying Daril Gibsons book but its based on the old objectives..

    I took the SY0-201 '2008" exam. The hardest part for me using Gibsons book (and it's not the fault of the book) was doing the Q&A portion because I had the Kindle edition. So there where times I'd scroll back and forth but that's just more or less a minor inconvenience.
