Lab Sims

Can anyone recommend a good solid Lab Sim program? I would love to use GNS3 but I cant get my hands on an IOS image without spending a lot of money. I have looked at used routers on ebay but have not found one yet with the IOS media. Any suggestions?

Most of the routers on Ebay will come with an IOS image.

As for labs, you could check out the official Cisco labs on their website.

Yea, I've yet to buy a router or a switch that didn't have an IOS image on it.

Now, whether or not they were recent enough to be of use is another question, but there was something there.

I think his hangup is the "media" part. No router/switch comes with IOS media per se, you'll have to hook it up and offload the IOS by transferring it to a TFTP server running on your machine and using "copy tftp flash".
