Subnetting question

in CCNA & CCENT
I have one questions related subnetting.
Does anyone know, such as 10.0.0.0/3, is it valid or invalid scheme? I found that there is no this scenario in this software.

/3 on 10.0.0.0 would be on:
0.0.0.1 to 31.255.255.254
That's a lot of public IPs so, basically invalid, but it's technically valid if kept on a separate network so as not to interfere.
I just hope that none of the hosts would be looking for any services on the internet with those IPs. They'd DNS on the internal network rather than out to the real ones on the internet.
What's happening here is that you're supernetting the class A 10.0.0.0 /8. For more about this kind of thing, read about VLSM. -
