After running out of money while studying for this exam back in September, and forgetting most of the material, I've spent the last month(ish) re-studying it during the long slow hours of working overnight NOC shifts and have bit the bullet and scheduled the exam for today at 11AM(Central).
Am a bit worried about this exam; as always the level of minutae I feel I need to remember is daunting. Plus the $250 pricetag is a tough pill to swallow; even with a 10% early expiry voucher, but at this point I just felt the ccna security was becoming more of a lodestone than anything; keeping me from moving to the ccnp (and I felt with sdm being eol, the exam's gotta be changed at some point, making the current study material less useful).
I seem to be writing a novel like I usually do here.
Ended up waking up 2 hours earlier than I hoped and am poking around, doing a bit of last-minute skimming/studying of guides while I wait to start the 2-hour drive to the testing facility (There's a closer one at 1-hour away, but you have to schedule like a month in advance; the place I scheduled has next-day availability)
