My MCSE certification is now complete
Scored 833 in this exam which I'm really pleased with (I thought it was going to be a bit closer to 700 after submitting my last testlet, so was nicely surprised).
Hard exam but manageable with a sound understanding of the topics covered in the 4 core exams. A lot of reading and time keeping involved during the exam!
Best regards,
Jon.

Dakinggamer87: The very best of luck with your remaining MCSE path. One tip I would give in the 297 is to take breaks in between the mini tests if possible (they are all individually timed, so if you've got 2-5 minutes remaining after happily answering all the required questions, use that time to rest & avoid fatigue).
Asif Dasl: I was greatly apprehensive regarding this exam after reading other candidate experiences. I’m lucky enough to have real word NT4 and 2000 knowledge (even if it was 8 years ago). I believe the knowledge of yesteryear won the battle for me today.
Excited to be starting the 2008 certification track later this year, though will be taking a much earned summer break in the meantime.
Best regards,
Jon. -

I am about to tackle this exam as the final exam in my MCSE track. Can you say how you prepared for this exam and give some more advice that I could use.
Thanks in advance. -

The book I used was: MCSE Core Elective Exams in a Nutshell: MCSE Core Elective Exams in a Nutshell: Covers exams 70-270, 70-297, and 70-298 In a Nutshell O'Reilly: Amazon.co.uk: Pawan K. Bhardwaj, Roger A. Grimes: Books
Read this first then did some sample testlets with the Transcender engine.
I bought this book as it also covers 298.
