Hi Guys,
I am thinking of changing my currect Network Jobs, with something more ISP related. I will get an interview next week. Some of the topics i do not now are:
- ADSL Protocols - ADSL/ADSL/ADSL2+ Principles, ADSL Parameters and ADSL Trend.
- VDSL Protocols – Principles and Parameters, Bandwidth
- GPON fundamentals
- XPON OLT and ONU
Do you know some good books that treat this protocols?!
In the CCNP study i did not get a lot of info about this protocols. Can you please give me some hints?
I mostly need a good book, because i can find a lot of info on wikipedia too.
Thank you.

ehnde Member Posts: 1,103How much can you really learn in a week? Just enough to show that you did a little background reading and are interested in the challenges this company faces. You won't be able to speak authoritatively on any of these topics in one weeks time if you are not at all familiar with them.
The certifications you already hold are topics they full expect you to be comfortable with. Stuff you already know will likely be used in interview questions.
Saying "I don't know." takes guts. There are different ways to say it, too, without seeming like you're completely ignorant. You could say "I don't know, but I'm very interested in learning more about that kind of technology." Or "I have not used that protocol, but I have used XYZ, which is a related technology."
Hope the interview goes really well for you. Best of luck!Climb a mountain, tell no one. -

Thank you for the reply. The guy that is going to give me the interview, knows that i do not have experience with this technology, and he suggested that should take a look over those, since he knows i do not know a lot about those.
I was looking for some reviews of the technologies, and maybe some books for future references.
Thanks again for the reply.
