Any advice or tips on taking the 70-653 sbs 2008 exam? Is CBT nuggets or Train Signal a good idea?

Your best bet is to look over the objectives TS: Windows Small Business Server 2008, Configuring aka skills measured and review some technet articles Windows Small Business Server 2008 and use the MS Press book Amazon.com: MCTS Self-Paced Training Kit (Exam 70-653): Configuring Windows® Small Business Server 2008 (Mcts Self Paced T/Kit 70-653) (9780735626782): Beatrice Mulzer, Walter Glenn, Scott Lowe: BooksNo longer work in IT. I have yet to fully read the book for 70-653, but there is not a huge amount to grasp, as most configuration is done using wizards. Train Signal have an updated SBS 2011 package out now and a few books for SBS 2011 are coming down the line. I don't think there is too much different to SBS 2008 but you would probably be better placed going for the SBS 2011 exam 70-169 using the latest Train Signal package and maybe waiting for an SBS 2011 book to arrive (or use a 2008 book and pick up the differences).

It's not that much different from 2008 as I just set up a client with it recently and the only references I had to use were technet articles. SBS 2011 is even easier to set up than 2008 was.No longer work in IT. Play around with stuff sometimes still and fix stuff for friends and relatives.
