Please review my resume

I've been having trouble getting a job and I only had 1 actual face-to-face interview(Nov 2010). Which I believe was just a formality, since I had all the requirements they were looking for but still decided to go with somebody else. After that I haven't received a single call from anybody else besides the temp work I have done.

Please note that the text is smaller in Google docs

Also, as you can tell I don't have much experience. In the past, I had worked quite a few warehouse jobs and I want steer clear from that path.

Is there something off about my resume?

That's actually a well laid out resume, mine's pretty much the same format. What you could do however is to beef up the individual bullet points. Now I know you have only had short gigs, but try to put some more meat on each of the bullet points.

Another tip, HR put resume through a keyword filter and call people whose resumes have the most hits. In order to get the most hits, try to incorporate as many keywords as you can from the job description. Dont just go crazy, use discretion. That way atleast your resume gets looked at by the HR goon.

Also keep plugging at more certs. You want your resume to get picked from the pile of a 1000 resumes.

Listing A+ twice under certifications is redundant. Are you working towards Network+ or CCENT?

I wouldn't change much about your resume because it fits so nicely on to one page, but as you acquire more experience and certifications you should consider completely ditching the "skills" section. Your new job experience and additional certifications will take up more space and you could still be able to keep it on one page.

Typo:
Worked cooperatively as a team to reach a customer satisfaction.
Should be:
Worked cooperatively as a team to reach customer satisfaction.
Or maybe better:
Worked cooperatively as a team to ensure customer satisfaction.

Could you maybe change "Computer User Support 1 & 2" under Education to "Tier I & II Computer User Support" ? Reason being that these are job title related and the word "Tier" may help you show up in more results. "Tier I & II Desktop Support" could fit too.

Thanks for the advice so far and I'm working towards my Net+. Also, as far as submitting my resume should I just be sending my resume online or should I also walk into employment agencies and hand them my resume?

i would change the cert area. you got the right idea though.
mine is something like this. I made sure the reader knows what i am studying for. Don't list a location etc on where you got it either.

Make sure you revise your skills are and list it up top. you want soft skills as well for entry level.

i would lose the typing ability. if not, shorten it to 'wpm'.

also change the summary to "objective". mine says "[FONT=&quot]Computer hardware enthusiast wishing to obtain entry level IT knowledge and experience"

everything else seems to be fine. you can always make adjustments.

lastly, work on your cover letters. this is essential when applying to a job.

OK thanks, I did have a question. Should I send a cover letter even though they just request a resume be sent?

There are a few things that I'd suggest changing.

1. Use of bold. You use it for companies under experience but not for the name of your college under education.

2. Bulleting doesn't line up from education to experience.

3. You keep changing date formatting. IE. September 2010 vs. 12/2010.

4. A+ being listed twice isn't going to help you at all.

5. I'd leave out the coursework personally. You already have a skills section that covers this.

6. I'd work on your summary a bit. Make it sound as if you're already an IT professional, not looking for them to make you into one.

7. Fix "Worked cooperatively as a team to reach a customer satisfaction".

Absolutely, even though many, if not most, HR buffoons dont bother reading it.
