Hey TE,

Was looking to get some very harsh revision/revamp of my resume. Its the resume almost as it is when I was applying to internships in college, so it needs updating bad. I tried to update some details (current job, cert) to make it relevant for the experts to tear apart.

For the fact of more information- I graduated with my bachelors in MIS last december- I start my masters at WGU in August; sit for CISSP in July.

1st thing I noticed is the 201 followed by a 1 on the line below in your header. I'm guessing that's supposed to be "2011".

You don't have much on there, not enough to warrant 2 pages, since you're just barely over 1 page, it would be easy for you to simply adjust formatting to get it down to 1 page.

Look over some of recent threads on this subject for more in-depth tips.

I will reiterate 1 point for something that seems to be very common on a lot of these resume threads. WHERE ARE YOUR ACCOMPLISHMENTS?! With 5 years experience and a Masters, you should not be trying to get by on simple list of responsibilities.

Your resume says "I've only had entry level positions and I'm looking for another entry level job." If that's all you're after, you can do it by cleaning the formatting and bringing it down to a single page.

If you want to move up in your career, you need to show more than a list of responsibilities in your experience section.

You don't need to explain what SharePoint is. You probably don't need to explain what Centric is either, or any other programs for that matter, at least not in the way you have with the ( ).

Weird on mine it says 2011- and its only 1 page. Don't knwo what happened there.
