I am a student and have a free voucher to take the 72-680, which is , Configuring Windows 7 exam.

Yes. It will show up on your transcript as 70-680. 72 series is just describing the student version - difference being only the price.Climb a mountain, tell no one. -

Yep, I've taken it.
Identical to the 70-680 and counted the same for my MCITP. -
