Windows 7 system image restore
Hi all, I'm planning on getting a new HDD and I've used the system image restore feature to backup my drive. Only thing is my drive is split into two logical partitions and I when it was backing up the option wasn't given to specifiy which partition, so does anyone know if you're then given the option to restore one partition as this is what I want or just the whole lot.

thanks brad, I've since tried it and there's no option to pick which partition sadly so it's either all or nothing. ah well may as well look forward to a clean reinstall. -

im a big believer in testing stuff like that our on virtual machines. if you need one, you can get the client to run it, and an OS image to start with free from MS
