Slowhand Mod Posts: 5,161 ModIt's very unlikely that you'll be asked to do anything quite that advanced, but it's not a bad skill to have under your belt, especially if you're planning on going on to something like the Cisco exams or if you're going to work as a network engineer.

I haven't seen hex conversions yet in any Cisco material I've covered. IPv6 isn't emphasized too much in the CCNA. At what level can we expect to see a need for this math skill?Climb a mountain, tell no one.
