Hi Guys,
I need to install a cme on a cisco 3700 series router in gns3 and I've downloaded the cme version cme-124-15-T from cisco official website, and I've add the downloaded cme file to a tftp server and tried to extract the cme files to the cisco router by using the following command,
Router#archive tar /xtract tftp://10.1.1.2/cme-124-15-T.tar flash:
but it failed, but later on as per the tutorials that I've referenced, I've found out that I need to use the same command with a sub-component of the total cme file, i.e using the cme-gui-4.1.0.2.zip file (which is a included within the downloaded cme file)
Router#archive tar /xtract tftp://10.1.1.2/cme-gui-4.1.0.2.tar flash:
this time though I can see that few components get extracted to the router's flash, but still at the end still the ip communicator phone is not getting registered with the cme.
I would really appreciate if anyone can assist me in this regard?
Thank you in advance
Regards,
Suren
