Help resetting password on Router

in CCNA & CCENT
I have a 2513 and I'm trying to reset the password on it. It's IOS seems to be 12.0. I'm doing ctrl & break as soon as I turn on the router but it's not bringing me into ROMmon mode. When I do press it I get a message that says:
Abort at 0x10E7E6A (PC)

I don't know what to type there because I'm use to showing up as:
Rommon 1>
After playing with this router. It seems that break is disabled.
Any way I can get around this?

The 2500s have a boot image (Rx-boot) in ROM -- it's a limited function IOS.
