Are there any IT/finance jobs?

I have a good amount of years in the finance/ retirement plans field but I want to switch over to the IT/ IT security field...I'm questioning if I should really switch over to the IT field and lose all my experience in the finance field....are there any jobs out there in IT or IT security that want you to have a finance background as well?

I would say check with the IRS's fraud department but I'm not sure what the criminal justice aspect of the job would require prior to applying (aka Bachelors of Business/Finance vs. Bachelors in Crim w/Finance exp?). A job with them will probably land you in the auditing side of things.

Is it worth dropping everything to swap to IT Sec? That's based on your life situation. If you have a family and need stability you might want to wait before taking the paycut (I'm not sure what your experience with IT in general is). If you're single and have a decent amount of savings, it might be plausible to.

I will probably edit this later because I'm not sure if I'm making a whole lot of sense :P.
