When doing a Trace Route
When doing a Trace Route,
If it times out on one of the hops but
continues to trace, what does that tell you?
Does it mean that the router/switch prior to it found
a different path to the destination?
Example:
5 25 ms 24 ms 26 ms 32.49.22.185
6 53 ms 252 ms 228 ms 32.35.180.65
7 * * * Request timed out. <
8 125 ms 129 ms 125 ms 194.138.4.153
9 135 ms 134 ms 133 ms 194.138.4.158
