Any one here using the Dell/Kace Systems management and deployment appliances in their networks? If so what are you opinions?

We use it. If you have quite a bit of training, or think like n engineer, it is pretty good. I think it is pretty clunky. It is definitely not intuitive.

We use both the 1000 and 2000 series and I love them both. They make system managent a breeze.

I looked at it but decided go go with SCCM. There are a good amount of KACE users on the web though.

I do use the KACE/App Deploy repackager/MSI maker though and I love it.

We evaluated it several years ago and thought it was pretty solid. It's quite pricey, though. We were already licensed for SCCM and ended up deploying that instead.
    IT guy since 12/00

Recent: 11/2019 - RHCSA (RHEL 7); 2/2019 - Updated VCP to 6.5 (just a few days before VMware discontinued the re-cert policy...)
    Working on: RHCE/Ansible
Future: Probably continued Red Hat Immersion, Possibly VCAP Design, or maybe a completely different path. Depends on job demands...
