My commute is 2 hrs one way. Right at 100 miles. Back roads slow me down. I work 4 10 hour shifts. So I am gone 14 hours a day. It sucks and now I'm starting to have car trouble. Trying to find job closer to home is a b!@#$.

That's crazy. You might want to think about moving closer to the job if you don't find anything closer to you. I can't imagine what you spend on gas...

When I was working in the office I had about two and a half hours commute round trip for work.

Luckily since my job entails remoting into client servers and fixing problems remotely anyways I was able to talk my boss into letting me cut the commute out altogether and now I work from home.

Its usually half an hour for me each way minus the traffic, but it can be hectic sometimes.

About 2.5 hours of peak hour driving for me, the morning run is worse. About 55 kms each way. I wish I could have some audio tech podcasts to listen to while sitting in traffic, but it apparently drives my missus nuts - so I dont get to play it.

I roll out of bed and am at work now, but before I did that (with the same company actually) I was commuting about 2.5 hours round trip as well.

25 minute total journey including walking and train, used to be about 1.5 hours but I moved.

Im hoping to move even closer next year (walking distance).

Commuting sucks and (imo) is not worth it.

22.5 miles each way. If I leave an hour before I start, it can easily take an hour. Leave 90 mins prior and I can be there in 25 mins.

Coming home is always an hour commute unless I wait two hours. So its best to do my running around on that side of town before heading home.

My commute is anywhere from 18 to 45 minutes depending on traffic. I would not commute more than an hour if I could help it.

Mine is about 45 minutes to get there, around 1.5 hours home. The drive home should get substantially better very soon, as I am about a month away from being on second shift.

It will be 30 min. I like to drive but it can get pretty boring. Atleast it's close to my dads job and the school I'm transferring to.

About 5 minutes each way no matter the time of day. When I work from home it's about a 30 second walk from bedroom to the office downstairs :D

    Currently, 50 miles w/ traffic takes ~1.25 hours.(one way)

Moving this weekend, and will be 103 miles but only takes 1.50 hours (one way) since there's no traffic.

I commute about a half a mile to work. Sometimes I ride my bike or walk.

Takes me 2-3 minutes to get to work....in a blizzard.
