I'm curious if anyone has had experience with Sybex's Amazon.com: MCTS: Windows Server 2008 R2 Complete Study Guide (Exams 70-640, 70-642 and 70-643) (9780470948460): William Panek: Books ? There is only one review so far, but I am a fan of Sybexs books so far.

I'm afraid I have no input about this book but I can tell you that the links in the stickies for the MCITP:EA/SA exams are really good. These stickies were created when the exam still tested on 2008, not 2008 R2. But they still contain valuable info and they also have links for R2.

Just so you know, I did read the Mastering 2008 R2 book, it was okay, but did not go into the depth needed for some tests, especially the 647 which was a freaking beast. TechNet is your friend mate. Read TechNet and you should be good.

The book is a little light on the ground, however im finding that its a good backup resource for the 70-640. It jams the content of 3 exams into about 1000 pages. Just dont use it as your only source of info.
