CCNA Exam Cram 640-802

Hi all,

I've been working on my CCENT with Wendell Odems Cisco Press kit book ICND1 for the last few months on and off, it is detailed but dry. Very, very dry.

I came across Exam Cram 640-802 at Chapters today and I vaguely remembered it being mentioned here that it was a great suppliment to Odems CCNA study guide.

Just looking for confirmation on this.

Is it a good suppliment?

Anyone else have success with this?

Not sure if you already have these:

You could try Lammle's CCENT book: Amazon.com: CCENT: Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician Study Guide: ICND1 (Exam 640-822) (Exam 640-822 With CD) (9780470247020): Todd Lammle: Books

I was using that but reverted to Odom's. It might be a bit dry but it's very thorough. I'm also using the CBT Nuggets videos and find them good too. But umtimately the books are where you'll find the detail.

I think this book is pretty good at covering important topics quickly just to remember some things. It's not to be used as a study guide but its nice to have so you don't have to carry around the huge ICND1 or ICND2 book.

A friend of mine used it (exam cram) to study for the composite exam and recommended it to me. He says it's good for the composite exam but it doesn't split the stuff up for the ICND1 & 2 material and that it's mainly good as a supplement to the Odom or Lammie books.
