I know a show process cpu will show you this

CPU utilization for five seconds: 17%/1%; one minute: 48%; five minutes: 37%

how about if I want to view utilization in the last 24hrs?

Some form of SNMP graphing tool might be used, for example PRTG

    Try show proc cpu history.

how do I read this? Does it mean 80% of the CPU has been utilized in the last 72 hours? Is that a bad thing?

It means you are averaging a constant 60%, maxing at 70%, utilization for the last 72 hours.

And to answer the other question, yes, that utilization is a little high, depending on what it's doing. With that much constant usage, you run the risk of a spike that pegs the CPU to the roof, and turns your Cisco Router into a Cisco Reaper, feeding on the souls of your dead packets.
