hey guys I just have a quick question it might sound stupid but i really cant figure out why its like this.
well i was just thinking of getting into SQL on the SyStem Administration side of things and I found a book on sybex which is the SQL Server 2008 Administration 70-432 and was also interested in the 70-433 database development but when I wen to see the microsoft press version it had SQL Server 2008 Database development 70-433 and then for sybex it had a different name Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Database Server Infrastructure Design Study Guide (Exam 70-443)
and its also for SQL Server 2005? does anybody know why its like that or am I looking up the wrong stuff??

which exam number(s) do you think I need to take thats relevant to the System Administrator job role? i have no experience with SQL.
Thanks. -
LCA Member Posts: 21570-432 is the SQL Server Implementation and Maintenance exam which is about administration of SQL Server and there is the 70-450 PRO: Designing, Optimizing and Maintaining a Database Administrative Solution Using Microsoft SQL Server 2008 exam. The latter is aimed at someone with real world experience or at least serious knowledge.
My path is the 70-432 exam which I passed last week, now I'm going to do the 70-433 Database Development exam then 70-450. I want to be very good at the T-SQL language before the 450 exam.
For the 432 exam I did find it very beneficial to have the Windows Server exams under my belt beforehand. It really did make a big difference for me. -

Is the right path for the System admin to learn.
