Hey Guys,

So i am going to shoot for my masters next year and i was looking for some feed back on some of the options i am considering. First a little background on me. I am RIT B.S. Network Security and Systems Administration Grad, currently a Security Analyst (2 Years exp) going into Info Sec Consulting (Pentesting and auditing) at the end of the year for a pretty big company in the computer industry. my goals is to start out pen testing, then go into incident response and end is research. I also aspire to get my Ph.D down the road but i am in my mid 20s so no hurry on this. I am looking to get my masters online from a school with a research program and offer a bit more then the generic university. I want to have a programming aspect, a forensics aspect and a auditing aspect in the cirriculum.

My prospects are:
NYU-Poly - M.S. Cybersecurity

RIT - M.S. Computer Security and Information Assurance (I got my B.S. here)

Depaul - M.S. Computer and Information Security: Computer Security

Take a look at the coursework and let me know what you guys think i am really up in the air on this one however NYU poly what i am leaning towards currently.

I got my MS at Rensselaer and it has helped me a lot in my career. I know a few people who got their BS/MS at the same place and there was a lot of course overlap so you will want to be careful of that. RIT is a great school though. I would also look into Georgia Tech or Carnegie Mellon. You can't really go wrong with any of those, but you will need to see which one gives you the most money off. When I was applying to Rensselaer gave me 35% off while RIT offered 30%. Tuition, courses, and reputation were so similar that it came down to cost.
