I recently passed my SYO-201 Security+ exam after preparing for several months. I actually earned a better score than I expected. I guess the multiple choice format makes it fairly easy once you are pretty intuitive about what doesn't sound correct.

As many people have mentioned, the Darril Gibson study guide was an excellent prep tool for the SYS-201. It's very detailed and well organized.

I have posted my Gibson guide and a very nice unopened video tutor on eBay for reasonable prices, if anyone else has need of them.
